Child Safety Seat Check

Free child safety seat inspections are done by the Lawrence Police Department as part of the Safe Kids Douglas County led by Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Helpful Information

  • Child Safety Seat Inspections are conducted at the Child Passenger Safety Inspection Station at Lawrence Police Facility.
  • A "Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician" will inspect the seat for safe and correct installation.
  • Allow 30 minutes per seat per vehicle.
  • Please have your child's safety seat installed upon arrival.
