The Municipal Services & Operations (MSO) Department keeps Lawrence running—every day, for every resident. We manage and maintain more than 850 miles of water, storm, and sanitary sewer lines, oversee two water treatment plants that process over 10 million gallons of water per day, and care for the streets, signals, and infrastructure that keep our city moving.
