STANDARD OPERATING HOURS:
(unless otherwise noted)
Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday: 1 - 9 p.m. 

Membership is required to enter City of Lawrence recreation facilities including Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, Holcom Park Recreation Center and East Lawrence Recreation Center. For the first three months of 2026, an evaluation of the Community Building will be conducted. It will remain open and free for use by the public during this period. All annual memberships are valid for one-year from the date of purchase. (Ex. An annual membership that is purchased on Feb. 23, 2026 will be valid through Feb. 22, 2027.) Memberships purchased prior to January 5, 2026, will be valid through December 31, 2026.

Directions

To visit Sports Pavilion Lawrence® (within Lawrence) from 6th Street, turn right onto George Williams Way taking it to the curve into Rock Chalk Parkway. Take Rock Chalk Park Way to Rock Chalk Lane and turn right, traveling on Rock Chalk Lane to the parking lots for Lawrence Sports Pavilion. From I-70 take Exit 197, heading south on K-10, Take the 6th Street exit, and head east on 6th Street to George Williams Way. Turn north on to George Williams Way taking it to the curve into Rock Chalk Parkway. Take Rock Chalk Park Way to Rock Chalk Lane to the parking lots for the sports pavilion.
