Conrad & Viola McGrew Nature Preserve

Explore 15 acres of natural beauty at McGrew Nature Preserve, a Lawrence greenbelt near Inverness Drive and Bob Billings Parkway. The preserve features a hard-surfaced trail and natural areas, providing a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors.
Deerfield Park
2801 Princeton Blvd.
Enjoy outdoor recreation at Deerfield Park, featuring basketball and baseball/softball facilities, a playground, and one of Lawrence’s two skateboard parks. The park also offers a covered shelter with picnic tables, a barbecue grill, and electricity, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Explore nearly 100 acres of protected natural area in northwest Lawrence. The preserve features unpaved walking trails, limestone outcroppings, wooded areas, native grasses and plants, and diverse wildlife habitat. Conservation easements protect the area from future development while preserving natural corridors for the community to enjoy.
Ludlam Park

Enjoy a neighborhood green space at Ludlam Park, a 1.4-acre park across from Sunset Hills Elementary School. The pesticide-free park features playground equipment, benches, and public-use barbecue grills, providing a welcoming place for outdoor play and relaxation.
Martin Park
Peterson Road and East 1130 Township Rd
Discover 19 acres of natural beauty at Martin Park, donated to the City in 1963 to preserve the land as a public park. Enjoy nature trails through wooded areas, native grasses, and wildlife habitat. The park also features a barbecue grill and provides a peaceful setting away from the noise of the city.
Quail Run Park
1134 Inverness Drive
Quail Run Park was developed in the mid-1970s as part of Lawrence’s school/park concept. The City purchased five acres west of Quail Run Elementary School to create a natural park, providing nearby green space for the surrounding neighborhood to enjoy.
Stonegate Park

Come enjoy four acres of neighborhood green space at Stonegate Park. Take a stroll along the walking path, let the kids play, relax on a bench, or gather with neighbors in the open space. Stop by Stonegate Park and enjoy a little time outdoors in the heart of the neighborhood.
