What is your superpower?

Over my career I have developed a pretty good Spidey sense and I can usually tell when things are going to go wrong or aren't what they seem.

Tell us a weird fact you happen to know for no reason.

In the 1800s there were almost no trees in Douglas County, and it’s estimated maybe only 5% of Douglas County was forested in the mid 1800's.

What would be your walk-up song?

At First Light- Bolt Thrower

What is your favorite place in Lawrence?

This is a toss-up between the Granada and The Bottleneck. I love seeing live music and I've made a lot of great memories seeing cool bands with my wife and my friends.

What do you most enjoy about your job?

I enjoy training other officers. I'm involved in the Police Training Officer Program, and I'm a member of our firearms instructor cadre and it's very rewarding to help my coworkers succeed, especially new officers at the department.
