Lawrence Parks, Recreation and Culture offers rental spaces throughout the community for meetings, celebrations, gatherings, and other events.

Whether you're planning a family reunion, birthday party, graduation, wedding reception, anniversary, or community event, we have a variety of spaces to meet your needs.

Recreation facilities offer flexible spaces for meetings, gatherings, celebrations, and other activities.

Important: Event facility rentals must be arranged in person at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. Event facility rentals require a minimum three-hour reservation.

Before You Reserve

What's Included?

Folding tables and chairs are included in the rental fee at public facilities, with some exceptions:

• Gymnasiums

• Community Building dance studio

• Lawrence Union Pacific Depot garden

Parks, Recreation and Culture staff can provide event setup and takedown services for an additional fee. Renters may also choose to handle setup and takedown themselves.

Room blueprints are available on individual facility rental pages to help you plan your event and determine the best space for your needs.

How to Reserve a Facility

Reservations for facility rooms may be made at any Parks, Recreation and Culture facility.
