As the weather warms and we all enjoy the outdoors, it’s essential to stay vigilant and involved in your own personal safety.

  • Keep Your Doors Locked If you’re working in the yard, always ensure your front and garage doors are closed and locked. Don’t forget to lock the back door when you’re in the front yard or when you head inside.
  • Be Cautious of Home Improvement Scams If a contractor or salesman shows up unannounced, don’t engage in business with them. Lawrence city workers from our Municipal Operations Department are easily identifiable. Request identification from any worker if you’re unsure.
