The Friends of the Park program recognizes individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that support Lawrence Parks, Recreation and Culture through contributions of resources, services, and volunteer time.

Your support helps strengthen the parks, programs, facilities, and community spaces that bring people together and enhance quality of life in Lawrence.

Ways to Give

There are many ways to support Parks, Recreation and Culture. Contributions may include:

  • Equipment and supplies to support parks and programs
  • Program support for community recreation and activities
  • Land donations for future park development

  • Gifts to the Wee Folks Scholarship Fund
  • Memorial Tree Program contributions
