Skateparks

Lawrence skateparks provide spaces for skaters of all skill levels to practice, build skills, and enjoy the sport. With three skateparks located throughout the community, there are options for beginners and experienced skaters alike.

Skatepark at Centennial Park

600 Rockledge Road

The Skatepark at Centennial Park is a 12,306-square-foot street-style skatepark featuring eight different elements. Originally designed with input from area youth, the skatepark opened in 1998 and was redesigned in 2012.

Skatepark at Deerfield Park

2901 Princeton Boulevard

The Skatepark at Deerfield Park is a 6,000-square-foot facility that provides a place for area skaters to practice their moves, develop their skills, and enjoy time outdoors. The skatepark was remodeled in 2012.

Skatepark at Holcom Park

2601 West 25th Street

The Skatepark at Holcom Park is designed as a beginner-friendly facility. It features skatepark elements that were previously used at the Deerfield Park Skatepark, providing a welcoming place for skaters to learn and build their skills.
